    I have a similar looking spot on my Chinese evergreen! Did you figure it out?

      BeeFree, I did some searching. It looks like it’s Leaf Spot, I think fungal. The best bet seems to remove the leaf, because it spreads. Said it can be caused by overwatering, humidity too high or even bad air circulation.
