ermmm does anybody know what this fuzzy stuff is on my pothos soil?? i hope it’s not mold

    Unfortunately I think it’s a combo of mild and dust. I’d repot if I was you.

    Oof yeah looks like mold I fear. Luckily pothos are so resilient! If repotting doesn’t work, you can propagate it & just grow a new plant baby(s). Incase you didn’t know already, make sure you’re letting the soil dry out all the way before each watering ❤️‍🩹

    Is this its nursery pot? Are you self watering in the terracotta pot? It does look like mold though :/ I’m sorry!

      yup it’s in its nursery pot still i take it out of the terracotta pot to water it, terracotta pot is more just decoration!

    I’ve had a terracotta self watering pot and it developed mold too! Maybe try a different pot, since they wick and hold moisture? Just to help prevent any future mold?

      My gosh! Me too, I had a jade given to me in a terracotta pot. The pot was covered in mold and took over the soil. Still lost the jade

    Add a lot of PERLITE. This keeps bacteria from taking over. Also allow your plant to dry completely before the next drink it’s recommended.

    This to me looks like the double pot suffocated the plant and pot. Try to avoid double potting

      Came here to say the same thing. Might be better just potted directly into terracotta pot.
