does anybody have any tips on how to take care of a brushstroke plant or a swiss cheese plant? i’ve recently bought them and since found out they’re a little difficult to care for 😅

calatheas are definitely not beginner friendly — make sure you’re using distilled water or a water conditioner. they are extremely sensitive to some minerals commonly found in tap water. they also hate to be dry, so make sure to check water frequently, but be careful not to overwater. swiss cheese plant = monstera? that’s one of the easiest plants to care for — they like to dry out between waterings, bounce back easily, and can survive in medium to low light conditions if necessary. for a thriving plant, give it lots of light for more fenestrations and give it something to climb for bigger leaves
