Could someone please explain why the app insists on misting and watering the same plant on the same day? ๐Ÿค”๐Ÿคจ

Iโ€™m not sure. Iโ€™ve also heard/read misting could actually be bad for the plants. I donโ€™t know what to believe!

You should take the alerts as reminders to check if your plant needs water rather than a demand. Also do your own research. ๐Ÿชด๐Ÿ˜Š

Hi there, I turn misting reminders off. Misting only temporarily increases humidity. IMO youโ€™re better off either not misting if the humidity is around or above 50% for most standard houseplants. If you have lots of thirsty tropical plants, probably better to invest in a humidifier or set up grow cabinets. Best of luck! ๐ŸŒฟ๐ŸŒฟ๐ŸŒฟ

Because they accomplish two different things. One is needed water while the other is to add humidity. Although itโ€™s questionable if misting really does much of anything.
