I have had a hoya for 2 years and no new leaves have grown in that time and I don’t know why.

Do you give it tons and tons of light? Lots of fertilizer during growth seasons?
0 likesI don’t really know when is growing season
0 likesIt should be growing. Try using powdered sulfur. You may have broad or flat mites.
1 likeIt has indirect light all day long
0 likesCan you use a light meter (This app has that feature and there are free apps out there for your phone) you want at least 1000 ft candles for 8 hours. Make sure to measure at the location the plant is and check multiple times a day. Mine didn't take off until I put her in the correct light levels.
1 likeOk thank you
0 likesDo you have any apps you would recommend that are free?
0 likesNot really, I was using the Planta app before I picked up a light meter off Amazon.
1 likeMine seems to like more light. She's in the most sunny southern window and has grow lights on her and she's giving me bigger leaves everytime.
0 likesSo maybe it needs more light?
0 likesI would try more light
0 likesI fertilized it about 2 months ago

Our main hoya is in a SW facing window, since we moved it there about 7 years ago it doubles in size every year. We just cut off two 6’ branches about 3 weeks ago and dropped the cuttings in plain water in the same window and both cuttings have grown roots. We will plant them tomorrow and feed them with flowering plant spikes, one of them is ready to flower already! My big plant is super root-bound but it flowers year round.

The branches on the main hoya plant are about 23’ from end to end.
