My aglaonema is flowering for the first time, and I’m thinking I want to cut it off so it doesn’t suck energy from growing these awesome leaves (plus, the flowers are kinda icky looking anyways lol). Should I chop it now, or wait until the flower stalk gets a little taller?

I'm not ashamed, I googled aglaonema to refresh my memory as to what they looked like. Well, according to a couple sites they agree with you about cutting the flower off so the leaves don't shrink or the flowers suck up their growth. There were a few sites said to cut the flowers before they bloom. Their picture showed them cutting the bloom when it was an inch high. That's what I found, hope it helps.

Oh no love! Please let Her bloom. But She's yours & I'm sure you have an excellent reason for stripping off the flowers. 🌿👍🏽Best of luck!👍🏽☘️💯
