Looking for help with my boat lily. It wasn’t getting enough light and grew very leggy and the ends I’d the leaves were turning brown. I cropped the top and gave it a grow light, and the top half of the plant is thriving, but the bottom isn’t doing so great. Where do I go from here? Do I need to crop it again? Give it more time? Will the bottom ever fill out and will the brown leaves come back to life?

I lost mine to bad fertilizer and I miss her so much 😭 One day she was fine and the next she was gone but before that she was very happy in my northeast window so I didn’t experience the same issues. I water my plants with Zero water or distilled water and I would let her dry out completely before watering again. I sprayed her with neem oil & castor soap monthly and it made her leaves shine. It’s hard to tell by a photo what yours needs but tradescantia are usually pretty prolific so I think it’s ok to give it another chop to get the way you want. I’m sure someone else with more knowledge will give you better advice so don’t give up hope. 😊
