I want to put a plant in my bathroom. There’s not a lot of natural light. What plant would be good in there? It’s usually chilly even in summer in this bathroom until someone showers.

Some plants can survive in low light, like snake plants, but be aware it is impossible for any plant to really thrive or at all grow when they don’t have enough light. It’s better to get a cheap grow light than to let your plant sit in darkness
3 likesI’ve heard peace lilies do well in bathrooms.
1 likeThey like quite a bit of light
1 likeYou may want to add a grow light, but indoor plants that can handle pretty low light levels include ferns, paphiopedilum orchids (though they vary; ask sellers which ones will do best), jewel orchids, and ficus. You'll probably want to check temperatures for all of them since they're usually tropicals. If your bathroom is too cold for them, try looking into subtropical species and expect those to do a winter dormancy
1 likeI have my palms and a pothos in my bathroom and they love the humidity.
2 likesI would go for a wandering jew tradescantia and just plan for it to die. Theyre my go-to beginners plant because theyre so easy to propagate and regular pruning is part of its upkeep. Keep one in a sunny room and one in the bathroom. If a bit of it dies, just pluck it off and throw it out, replace it with a new propogate vine. Theyre good in high humidity and too much sun is bad for it anyway.
