Hello everyone ☺️👋🏻 my umbrella tree has been growing very well and I’ve been wanting to prune it in a way that will promote more full grow in the middle to have it take on a fluffy tree shape. Would anybody have any suggestions on how I should prune this so that it stops growing out sideways and starts growing in the middle as well as grow taller?
Hello! First off I envy your plant lol, so beautiful. You can’t really prune it to make it grow taller, but have you given it any fertilizer? And how much light does it get/from what side (sides)?
3件のいいねI do regularly give it fertilizer whenever the Planta app indicates I should! In regards to light, we have floor to ceiling windows that let light in all day so it receives light all around except the back of the tree where the plant is tucked into the corner (this shade needs to be down for privacy 😅)
いいね 1件 Okay cool! That all sounds good to me, maybe if you want it to stretch to the light you could look into putting a grow light on the ceiling directly above it, because it probably wants to branch and stretch to the sides more right now with the way the light comes in
