My plant is having a mini identity crisis with its new growth. Has anyone also experienced this with heir philodendron birkins?

    They’re called Reverkins in the philo community, due to their tendency to revert back to the Red Congo ancestry I believe it was? The birkins are very genetically unstable I think it’s kinda neat!

    Yes! Mine is like that, too. I was told it has to do with the amount of light. Some of mine went through an albino phase, even! I think it’s just the nature of the birkin-a surprise in every leaf! ❤️

    I have two, and they tend to get weird leaves. Doesn’t seem dependent upon light. And the brown spots. All well known birkin issues.
