I bought everything to try semi-hydro but Iām waiting for an alocasia to be in need of a repot. I have leca, sphagnum, etc, and some 6ā glass vases but all my alocasia are either too small or too big for 6ā.
3 Me gustaYou're gonna love this. I can't believe how good my tiny micholitzianas look after a VERY short time in the leca/moss setup.
0 Me gustaI want to try thrifting some plant shelves for the two blank walls by my plant stand!
2 Me gustaRecently working on propagating some Golden Pothos cuttings. Iāve recently planted 1 which is the first one of three. Itās the first time Iāve ever tried to propagate anything. I have 2 other cuttings still working on growing roots before I try planting them! š¤
2 Me gustaI want to put my plants outside but Iām afraid theyāll get damaged with the heat.
1 me gustaAs long as no direct sun and lots of water you will be fine. Mine are loving it
1 me gustaI want to try growing my own sphagnum moss! I have grown it by accident, but I'm thinking of putting grow lights on a shelf in the garage and growing a meaningful amount of it.
0 Me gustaIāve recently chopped a 2nd gen of props from my pothos and Iām thinking of trying out a moss pole with them. This set of props is very viney and Iāve seen photos/vids of people getting large leaves with the moss pole. Iām interested to try it out!
0 Me gustaI've been wanting to try espalier. After much research I'm thinking maybe a plum tree, but I need to figure out a good spot for one
0 Me gustaAny good tips on propagating micans?
0 Me gustaWell, Iām helping my plant recover from root rot. Does that count? Haha
0 Me gustaI would like to have my plants experience rain water. It hasn't rained in a while. It would be nice to have them be watered and get a quick shower as nature intended it. I am taking them out, the next time we get rain
