Good morning, This is Randall. Randall has been apart of my work family for almost 3 years. He was gifted as a present at Christmas. I recently got into wanting to be a gardener. I read that the original pot he was in, was bad for him and the foil around his pot was not allowing the air flow? So I repotted him about two weeks ago. He had root rot and I clipped some off of him and he was drowning. A day later he looked like this and has always looked like this. I don’t water him as much now and he doesn’t get very much sun. What am I doing wrong?

He’s probably just stressed from the repotting and clipping of the roots. Just needs some time to recover I think.

My manager said the same thing. But his stems get browner every day. Just sucks. He was like our kid. I bought two hyacinths and repotted them yesterday and now it seems like they are going down hill as well

Since Randal is an indoor plant, make sure he only gets watered once the soil is completely dry. Indoor plants are really picky about that because there isn’t anywhere for the water to go. Once the soil is very dry, then you should thoroughly water it, allow the water to drain all the way through so that the plant is not sitting in a pool of water at the basin, and repeat. Make sure the plant is near a window if at all possible (or get him a small plant lamp:) )- but also not near an air conditioner or heating vent because the high intensity of temperature air flow is hard on plants. I hope Randal and his new friends feel better soon!! You can do it Randal!
