Got this from Home Depot today! Even tho I couldn’t get what I needed, at least I got a plant 😭 The label says crassula ovata mosaic variegated but I don’t see it on planta

    It’s a variegated jade. You can make that cultivar name on the label the name when you add the plant, and search “variegated jade” and pick that for the species. Hope this helps 😊

      There’s other cultivars that are similar to hers, but they aren’t on the app yet. Hers is a very specific cultivar from the marbling, and is actually titled a “mosaic variegated” jade on the label. There’s more than one type of variegated jade. I have the type you have as well, but that type itself is a specific subspecies of jade, thus the longer and pointier leaves than that of a classic crassula ovata. Identifying it on the app for the time being as a simple variegated jade will still provide the same care instructions for any type of variegated jade, since they all need lots of bright light so they don’t lose their variegation with new foliage down the line. The ID on the label for Allie’s plant is correct, but since there aren’t many other types of variegated jade on the app yet, just ID’ing it as “variegated jade” on the app will do for now.

    Oh I thought it looked like a paddle plant. I have 4 similar kinds. I love the red tips from sun stress and hoping mine will do that soon 🤞
