My Stromanthe came from the store with brown tipped leaves and I was wondering if this is an issue or sign of disease. If it is what causes it and how do I get rid of it. Thx!

It could be many things but usually its due to watering/humidity. I would increase humidity first and see if other leaves are browning too

Most leaves are but I just put literally a couple inches from a humidifier so I’m assuming if it’s from lack of humidity they’ll go back to normal soon.

So once there that brown and crunchy texture, that part of the leaf is dead. So you’re gonna have to look for browning on new leaves that have just grown.

I know they like rainwater but is it fine if the humidifier is filled with tap water

I just got it yesterday so I’ll have to wait and see if the new leaves turn that way

Mine has done that no matter what I do. I just keep cutting off these ends. Very frustrating

Stromanthe loves humidity, If you don't give them enough then it's like KFC crispy!
