Is 10 feet or so from a south facing window good enough light? I recently bought this plant stand. I haven’t been able to find a great place to put it in my room yet. The best place where I looked aesthetic and seemed like it was getting a lot of light was in thid corner as shown, but I’m a little bit afraid that it’s gonna be too far away from the window as the plants need. The wall to the right of the stand is ~10-11 feet from the windows, which are across the room. Do you think I should find another spot for this? Or is it okay? I figured since it is a south facing window that gets a lot of light not blocked by trees or anything it might be okay.

No 10 feet away is not enough light. More like 1-2 feet away for most plants in a south facing window.

If you are set on being further back for some of your plants, you could consider grow lights.

Looking at that corner, and considering it’s 10 ft away, I think that level of lighting would be considered shade. You could totally get a grow light though, since there’s a plug next to it!

I agree with other posters however, I wouldn’t put the grow light directly on the plants because at least one of them that I recognize does not like direct sunlight.😉
