Worried that she might be under watered. I read online that curling leaves means it’s underwatered. I watered her yesterday with the apps schedule: I never water until the water comes out of the drainage holes. Should I?

I personally water until it starts draining from the holes. I do it with all my plants and they seem to be doing well 👏🏼

I heard some great advice, you can never over water with the amount of water you use as it will drain. Over watering mostly happens when you water too frequently as it doesn’t give time for the soil to dry

That’s true! I never thought of it that way. Plus I use this app watering schedule. So, I will keep that in mind. Thanks!

i would use caution watering when the app suggests. (only bc the weather/sunlight/humidity can change the need) just use it as a reminder to check your plant. water thoroughly once your plant is dry.

Agree with Sydnei. It’s a reminder however I always check with a wooden skewer. Stab it in the substrate, leave it a minute & remove. If soil sticks, it’s damp, if it comes out dry - the soil is dry & the plant is ready for a drink xxx
