Hey, I just recently got some plants… and it is around 100 degrees F here; and I watered my plants in the morning; but I had to leave until the next day… will they be ok?

What type of plants? I usually google “[plant name] maximum temperature” to see what their temp range is. I think the care tab on Planta has it listed as well

Peppers, tomato, flowers, strawberries, lemon thyme, rosemary, peppermint and basil.

Brian, if you figure out the secret to basil, please tell me. I try to grow in containers and it just absolutely croaks every time. I thought it was the heat but your temp is about 5 degrees higher than mine so now I’m second guessing…

When I go out of town I fill a tray with water so they can drink from the bottom.

Ok; thank you! Do you think they will be ok/alive when I get back?

Probably if you give them a really good soak. Around here I have to water every single day in the summer and sometimes twice. 🫠
