This is my Kalanchoe Maroon Crinkle. It has gotten leggy (left). I had pruned it to encourage a bushier plant. It definitely put out shoots (right bottom) and the propagated part is doing well (right top). Contemplating a complete chop and prop to make it a fuller plant. Would you do it? I just get nervous if I chopped it all, I will kill it!

Future props should do well since the first cuttings are doing well. They grow leggy in insufficient light. You will need to increase the light intensity, put them closer to the light source, run grow lights longer or all of the above to fix the leggy issue. 🪴🍀

She is now under a grow light, but was under lit prior. I think that is why the first prop went well. Would you recommend chopping the whole "head" x 3 or make a bunch of little babies?

I would leave some leaf nodes for the mother plant to put out new growth closer to the soil if I cut off the remaining leggy stems. It’s up to you if you want to go all in and cut everything. I would leave at least one stem for the mother plant for photosynthesis. 🪴🍀
