Why oh why can’t I keep her alive!?! I do pretty well at keeping most plants alive but this beauty right here… she’s my nemesis atm. The only plant that I can’t bring back to life!! Each day there’s a new yellowing leaf… I’ve tried everything to moving her to a brighter spot (direct sunlight on south facing window), I water her whenever she seems to need it, but no matter what the leaves just keep yellowing and dying off? Pretty much all the lily’s have fell off too apart from one which looks like it’s dyingšŸ˜… What am I doing wrong? Should I just plant her outside instead? Is the windowsill not good enough for her? (Last pic is when I first got her)

I live in a CA zone 9b and have always found Calla lilies do best for me outside. I have several in pots and in a flower bed. My experience has been that Callas do best in large 14ā€+ pots or in the ground as they need frequent watering in our hot summer weather. Smaller pots ~ 8ā€ pot or a 1 gallon nursery pot can need to be watered everyday. Grouping them in larger pots helps cut back on the watering frequency. I also find large pots and amended flowerbeds provide much more forgiveness with that sweet spot of ā€œwhenā€ to water. Plants can have a bit more tolerance within a larger source of moisture. I hope this is of some help. Best of luck 🪓
