Hi all, I’m wondering if you think that is time to repot my Nephentes (Monkey Jar). I’m so afraid to repot them. In the last two months it’s gave me two new pitchers but looks overcrowded. ☀️⭐️

    Make sure you do your own research on repotting “carnivorous” plants… if memory from highschool serves me correctly, I had to buy special soil… no nutrients in the soil… I believe these “carnivorous” plants have adapted to live in big conditions where they weren’t able to absorb nutrients as the roots were water locked in a way…. They evolved/adapted to only receive nutrients from “carnivorous ways” — the pitchers— I believe if you were to use regular soil, it would burn the plant as if you over fertilized it.

      P.S. I trust no growery/greenhouse to give me basic bih soil.

      I’m not using any kind of feed to them. I saw that repotting carnivore plants are a challenging but it’s looking so overcrowded 🤯 I’m looking for a special soil from Sybotanica.

      I think, honestly, if you aren’t noticing decrease growth size or rate.. wait a little longer! Get what you need, and let it sit!
