Starting up my tissue culture journey…what am I missing??
I don’t know, but have heard it’s very hard! Good luck green thumb!
0 LikesYou need a clean workspace like a desk or the floor, You need to wash your hands before the operation, and you need to only use clean tools to make sure the plant doesn't get sick.
2 LikesAnd also I forgot to say you need to use agar gel instead of dirt and soil because yes, dirt and soil have what the plant needs that but also has diseases and viruses for your plant. As you can see its a delicate operation! Very hard!
1 LikeOh! Forgot to add you need to have the clipping in separate sealed jars to ensure the clean filtered air (which is probably the most important part so the plants don’t get sick) is the only thing that is with them. Have fun!
0 LikesI think you oughta join tissue culture 101 on FB. Lots of acclimation info there. You look like you’re off to a good start to me. It’s definitely not hard. I’m an “all-in” person & decided to acclimate 20+ for my first try & they’re all amazing.
