I need a bit more advice on my spider plant… these 2 back leaves keep going yellow/brown at the tips? Whenever I cut off the dying part, the next day there’s more yellowing further down the leaf? Does anyone know what’s causing this as it’s only the 2 same leaves every day, the rest of the leaves are fine? I’m assuming it’s caused by low light? As that’s the only thing I can think of due to the fact that they’re the back leaves that are furthest away from the window - if it is this, how do I stop it? I can’t really rotate it as I’d like to keep the baby facing the sun at all times so that doesn’t die at all😩

if some leaves are too damaged to photosynthesize effectively the plant will drop them, i’ve noticed this on basically all of my houseplants, succulents included. even if conditions are ideal sometimes the leaves are not, so the plant chooses to grow new ones. if your plant isn’t horribly rootbound this is likely the cause. spider plant’s don’t mind being snug in their pots so if you see a few thick white roots that’s ok, but if it’s all roots and no soil it is probably time for a repot. you can just place it in a larger pot and backfill with your media of choice. then top water heavily to saturate and settle the media.

also, i would recommend rotating your plant, one 90° turn is good about every week, the benefits (even growth) will almost certainly outweigh any potential detriment. the spider pup will be okay shaded.

I only repotted about 1-2 months ago, she was previously root bound but there was plenty of room for new roots to grow in this new pot but I’d imagine that she’s a bit root bound again by now… and yeah with rotation it’s more the issue of where she’s placed, she’s on a shelf up against a wall so I can’t really rotate her as the baby sticks out too far and just bends up against the wall - I don’t want it snapping off🫣

Plant looks super healthy so I don't think it's anything you're doing wrong. It's inevitably gonna lose older leaves as it grows. Chopping off the yellow won't stop it. Better off just chopping the leaf off completely and let it do its thing.
