      Right lol. But I hope it works out in the long run. It’s a good lesson in skill and patience and technique. I’ve never tried to do this before (not propagating in water).

    What is that first plant? Obviously you’re trying to save it and propagate it. Just wasn’t sure what it is based on the coloring.

      It is a Haworthiopsis limifolia, or the Fairy Washboard. I received a bunch of plants from a friend‘s daughter who is moving so I don’t know its entire history. But I went to water it and noticed some crispy leaves underneath then when I started picking at them and really dissecting it, the whole stem was rotten. So I shall try to save it.
