I have a fiddle leaf fig plant ... about 2 years old. It's dying fast. Leaves are falling off daily. This is what they look like... helpless

Mine has been thriving with a grow light placed about 2 feet just above it! Have had three new leaves in the past week or so! I would also recommend misting about once a week and only watering with distilled water! Fiddles can be very temperamental and don’t like the slightest change so if it has a spot in your home I really wouldn’t touch it!

Thanks. There is a grow light near but not as close as yours. They seem to be so temperamental..,

Very. Like people!!
0 LikesThis is my fiddle leaf that I’ve had for 6-8 yrs … and it’s bounced back for me in times of distress. The browning on the leaves is from when I accidentally sunburned it once. I’ve experienced leaf drop with it a couple times after I forgot to water it for way too long. It somehow realizes it can’t sustain all of its leaves and so starts to drop them. I’m curious about a couple things with yours. In the picture in the left, the leaves mostly look good except the one that had browning up by the stem, I’ve not seen that before. I’ve only seen it from dryness at the ends of the leaves. I’ve also never seen any of the mottled look stuff that you have on your leaf in the picture on the right. Have you checked for any signs of pests or mildew? They also like a fair amount of water, and can dry out some, but don’t like to dry out excessively. Overall I like flf’s, they didn’t seem as hard to me as everyone makes them out to be, but best of luck!
