Is there any hope? I have waited weeks for a new shoot, instead another strand died. "Never give up" I'm sure there is a way.šŸ™‚

    Just wait and have hope šŸ˜Š these go dormant over the winter and will slowly come back to a nice full plant. mine currently has two shoots.

    this is a two year old plant, it does nothing all winter long. just a pot of dirt lol then it starts coming back and it will be full all summer long.

    Iā€™ve had this variety in the same pot about 15 - 20 years. Iā€™ve had to give it extra attention when it was struggling. I had to turn out the soil to check the condition of the ā€œcorms.ā€ Some dried out a bit. The stem and leaves can also struggle when the roots are too dry. I recommend carefully checking the corms and root system. Change the soil if needed. I add rooting hormone powder after a soil change. Thoroughly drench the soil and let it dry out before watering again. Fertilize at least once a month. šŸŖ“šŸ€
