Help Planta babies! I’ve been keeping this plant close to the stove but never near a lit burner, does this look like heat damage? Or is it something scarier that I need to trim immediately? Thank you in advance!

    Definitely could be worse than heat from the stove (root related) but just be patient and keep an eye to see if it spreads further than that one leaf, or down the stem

    Is that a griddle sitting on top of a gas burner? Those leaves may be the first line of defense for the rest of the plant for taking in some of the residual fumes shooting from under the top plate? I'm no Sherlock Holmes though...
