Good morning, I’m a newbie plant Mum and just have some questions about as the season is changing. Do I alter my plant care when the heating goes on or when we light the fire? Is there general care tips or just assess each plant as I can. I have a range of different plants from a Monstera, some cactus plants, dragon tree plant and tradescantia . Thanks so much!

i would just keep checking the soil and when the top layer is dry, give it a water :)

Growth can slow in winter. The plants will use less water. Verify the plants need water before watering. Don’t just water by a schedule that might have worked in the warmer months, but, can lead to overwatering in colder months. Monitor the humidity level around the plants. Leafy tropical plants thrive better in higher humidity. Home heaters can dry the air too much lowering humidity levels. Consider adding a humidifier near the plants, if needed. 🪴🍀
