What is this thing that just shot up out of my aloe’s dirt? I swear, one day it wasn’t there, and then next time I looked, there it was! Unfortunately, I went to pull on it, and the fuzzy stuff on it, came off on my fingers… so it looks kind of bare and slimy… 😣! Also, it’s really stuck in there. It feels hard to the touch, kind of like a little tiny potato with fuzz…something from outer space? Good or bad? Comments? TIA!

Then I can just let this thing stay, rent free? If it’s a mushroom, that’s not bad, is it? TIA!

Should be okay as long as you don't have children who might touch it and then put their hands in their mouth, or pets who might munch on it. Mushrooms are signs of healthy soil and typically are of no harm to the plants. You can kinda pluck them off as they come up if you want to but I think they're cute so as long as they're not overtaking my plant I'd leave it be

TXS for the info; I’d forgotten mushrooms were toxic! I think I’m going to let him stay for a while, and just watch him grow… like you say, as long as he doesn’t bug my plant!

I’m guessing it’s some kind of fungi, but I’m not sure
