So I heard coffee grinds are good for plants after making some coffee . Do I just sit it on the top the plant soil or what exactly?

I recently read an article about this and it said you would have to have a ton of coffee grounds to make a difference. Check out unlikelygardener.com. He has interesting articles and runs plant hoarders anonymous on Facebook which I find really helpful.

It’s better to get a balanced fertilizer and regularly use it.

I have used it on a few plants. If I have some that just seem to struggle, a little sprinkle of coffee grounds seems to perk them up. My spider plant and holiday cactus like it. But I only give it to them in spring summer 1-3 times. I just sprinkle on top of the soil before I water.
