I have a really pretty imperial delight bougainvillea and she needs to be repotted to a much bigger pot. But I have absolutely no idea what kind of dirt to use. I used like gardening soil and sand with some perlite but I don’t think she liked it. Any suggestions on dirt recommendations?

A standard potting mix with extra perlite for drainage is sufficient. Water when it dries out. I don’t recommend repotting unless you verified the roots have almost filled out the pot and are causing adverse conditions to the plant. Bougainvilleas like snug roots. They grow more aggressively in a smaller pot. Too big a pot can eventually cause root rot. Let the soil dry out. Bougainvilleas need higher temperatures and appreciate higher humidity. 🍀🪴
