I have this African violet I was given and it’s just not doing great what should I do. It has leaves drooping

    Did you repot it when you got it? That might be part of the problem. They sometimes don’t react well to changes. Let top inch or 2 dry out between waterings. Bright indirect light. Good drainage. Don’t get leaves or stem wet.

    I did repot it because the soil was hydrophobic thank you for the information

    I got it from someone who wasn’t taking care of it

      Then it may just take a bit to adjust. Hopefully you start seeing some new growth and it’ll bounce back

    I've found these do really well in self-watering pots (or with bottom-watering if you don't have that kind of pot.) They don't like getting their leaves wet. These are among the most durable plants I've ever had, so it should perk up
