Looking for peoples opinions - liquid fertilizer vs pellets/stick/slow release fertilizers. Pros, cons, and your personal preference for your plants. I’ve always used liquid but am thinking about switching to slow release options just to make my plant care easier. Basically I’m sick of mixing batches of fertilizer every few days due to my plant collection size. Also, if slow release is your preference, do you have any plants you DON’T use it for and why?

I prefer to use slow release fertilizer, the only plants I have that I don't use it on are my African Violets. So far everything else I own (mostly philos, monsteras, pothos, and alocasias) seems to do fine with slow release fertilizer.

i like to use organic fertilizers because they’re naturally slow release. currently working my way through a jar of joyful dirt that i’ve had almost 5 years. i like that i can just sprinkle a pinch on top of the soil with this fertilizer too. many are much too harsh, namely chemical fertilizers, and will need to be diluted beforehand but joyful dirt makes things easy for me
