Hi, so i propagate my moms very sad jade pothos to make it a fuller plant. I was just able to pot her a few days ago. She was thriving in the water until I put her in soil. I’ve never had a pothos react like this and I’m fairly new at taking care of plants. Could someone tell me why its leaves are suddenly turning black on some parts and not looking the best anymore?

black is rot 😬 are you sure the roots were healthy before you potted? some plants are very sensitive going from water to soil, but in general, pothos is really tolerant

The roots weren’t mushy or showing any signs of rot when I potted, could it be from overwatering the plant too much after being put in the soil?

Remove it from the soil and recheck the roots. Does your pot have drainage holes? Are misting her or giving her some humidity?
