What are your favorite cat-safe plants? I’m having to sell most of my plants because I’m adopting a cat, but I want to invest in some cat safe ones!

    Hoyas all the way! If you have the right conditions, calathea/maranta can be a great option. Oh, and peperomia. Lots of options!

      It can also be a fun opportunity to explore some of the fussier plants that want super high humidity with a display cabinet or glass cloche (I’m especially thinking of Alocasia here)

      Also ferns, polka dot plants, and queen of the night cactus is a funky one. Oh, and pachira (money tree) if you want something a little larger. And then some of the non-pet-friendlies can do really well as hanging baskets where pets can’t reach them.

      My vet said the sago palm is the most toxic for dogs.
