Name some fast growing and “different” looking plants that I could add to my collection. I find I love my monsteras (delicisoa and adansonii) bc they grow so fast! Also love my philo basil for that reason. What are some others you would suggest with funky leaves or colors? Thanks!
Marble Queen Pothos! Pretty resilient, gorgeous green and white variegation, and easy to care for! Some Hoya varieties would be cool too!
2 Me gusta Thank you!! I have a pearl and jade pothos that is now taking off and growing a lot too. Maybe I’ll add a marble queen!
1 me gustaAnd of course, Thai constellation are gorgeous and I know you mentioned having a monstera!
1 me gusta Yes I’ve been on the look out for one reasonably priced!
1 me gustaMe too! If you find one let me know 🤣 I heard fb marketplace can be a good place to look for ‘rarer’ plants at a reasonable price
0 Me gustaThere’s also a syngonium (not sure if I’m spelling this right) variety with completely plum/nude pink leaves. Also, peperomia is fast growing and flowers. I’ve heard peperomia watermelon are really cool!
2 Me gusta Oh yes the watermelon ones look really fun!! I have one sungonium from Trader Joe’s that’s taking a while to get going but is starting to take off growing. Thanks for all the ideas!

Maranta! They grow fast and are gorgeous IMO. Here’s mine
Gorgeous!! Are they are to care for?! I’ve had a really great success rate so far but I thought these were finicky plants? That’s really beautiful.
0 Me gusta I have an overwatering problem so mine does stress me out occasionally 🤣 if that weren’t the case, I think we’d have a lovely relationship. It’s me, not her! Lol
2 Me gusta Hahahahha!!

Dieffenbachias can be pretty fast growers too! And lots of varieties to choose from. And I don’t know many things that grow faster than ivies.
1 me gusta Thank you!! I’ll look into them!

Pothos plants grow very fast. My fastest growers are Cebu blue (attached pic ) and Baltic blue. The photo was taken last August. They were 3 plants less than a foot long that I bought in February last year. I put all three into a 6 inch pot.
Thanks!! That’s awesome. Love it.

I've been loving my tree philodendron this spring. It's consistently been pushing out 2–3 new leaves at a time, and I watch them unfurl within 3 days!
1 me gusta I might need one of these!
1 me gustaPilea peperomoides! Aka “friendship plant” because they grow so much and are SO easy to propagate that you’ll end up giving one (or three) to all your friends! And they look so attractive in a plant collection, imo.
1 me gusta I’m looking it up now! Thank you!
