Is this enough sunlight?? This is S/SE facing and there’s another sky lite just out of frame. This area maybe gets an hour of direct sunlight at times. I want to place them in my window below but scared of burning leaves, it gets so hot with the sun beaming! Should I put a sheet curtain in that window to help this? I’m very new to plants! TIA 😊🪴

It looks like pretty low light, from my experience with monstera they love their light. If you’re worried I’d say either get a sheet curtain for downstairs or introduce a lamp upstairs with a led grow bulb! :)

Agree with the light looking a little low! I also have a fiddle leaf fig and it’s right up against the window. They love bright light so if you’re not seeing growth I would consider moving it into more light

Use sheer curtains or window film to decrease the light intensity. Most plants need at least 6 to 8 hours of daylight to thrive. Add a grow light, as suggested, if you can’t put them close to a window.

I’ve never had any of my leaves burn and I have an east facing window! I do live on the east coast so my sun is not as hot as places like Florida or Nevada, but you can use a grow light if you’re afraid of burning leaves!
