Hey guys! Does anyone know what’s wrong with my ivy?? When I first got her she was huge and beautiful and green but ever since I brought her home she has been wilting and just not looking very good. I’m super new to plant owning so any tips are appreciated!! Please help me not kill another plant lol

I am. I had no idea that the tap water could be affecting it!

Ivy can be way tougher to grow than you'd expect, as a houseplant. I have a tiny one named "it'll die" so I don't get too attached lol. What I've done with dying ivy is to cut off all the dead parts (including roots), see what pot size I needed for whatever remained alive, and pot in a light and well-draining mix that has some organic matter that's not too nutrient-rich, like fine bark rather than compost. I also put it directly in a window that got bright inderect light. It's bouncing back, slowly, and wants water relatively lightly but frequently.
