In anyone’s experience, has scindapsus (specifically treubii) grown slow for you all compared to other plants? I’ve had one for about 6 months now and it’s just now pushing out one leaf…it gets lots of east facing sun and I water it whenever the soil is getting dry using a moisture meter and finger check.

Ugh, so strange, what kind of growing conditions do you have yours in? I’m wondering if it’s a humidity problem?

Mine is pretty dang humid and warm/bright. Under grow lights in a cabinet. It’s grown more in that environment, but not a whole lot quicker.

My scindapsus is extremely slow growing too! I repotted it two months ago and it’s completely stalled itself

That’s crazy, almost like the genus as a whole is just very slow growing, maybe I shouldn’t have gotten just a four leaf cutting 🤦🏻‍♀️

The Scindapsus Treubii is slow growing for me. But, I still have it on a 4 inch pot in a window that gets Northern light. My Scindapsus Exotica in a 6 inch pot is very fast growing, almost too fast. It grew about 30% last winter inside. I keep it outside in warm weather in a SE direction. It’s getting out of hand needing water about every 4 days.

Ahh, interesting that it’s just the treubii, also could be inside versus outside too. Wow! What a beauty she is, and looks so so happy! Another plant added to my wishlist now
