I really thought I should be able to grow all kinds of things indoors without lights, that somehow grow lights weren't necessary or even all that great. When I look at that opinion now, I hardly think it's possible it was ever mine. I love my grow lights. I love being able to put plants wherever I want, and I love finding creative ways to set up my lights. I didn't want to spend a bunch of money on a vertical light so I cable-tied a barrina t5 to an old chemistry stand I got for free... It works perfectly, takes up less space (the base of the chemistry stand is small but heavy), and only cost about $13 for the light itself. I can't believe I was ever against this haha
