is there a better time of year to repot plants? I have some plants that are growing so well but their pots are looking pretty small. I don’t want to disturb the growing season. or have them go into shock while they’re using the energy to make new leaves.

Fun fact, the best time to repot plants is during their growing season - although I’m not sure the science behind it! I’d assume it has something to do with the amount of sunlight/energy. Anywho, for most plants the best time to replant is spring and summer! I’d suggest repotting into a pot with a diameter 1-2” larger than the root ball. Happy planting!

I've been tending to my plants according to the lunar phases, and I've seen excellent results. I recommend treating your plants based on lunar calendars.

If you are using grow lights, I’ve found there really isn’t a bad time to repot. I do try to stick with Spring/Summer/early Fall. A lot also depends on where you live.
