My PPPhas been struggling to get this leaf out for over a week. Shall I open the sheath a little more (leave the leaf itself alone) or shall I leave it be? Either way, I don’t want the leaf to tear 🥺

DaniPersonally when I experience this I just up the misting for that particular portion of the plant, and perhaps a little more time in the sunlight or some extra time after indirect sun under a grow light to help promote the growth. If after watching it for a few days I see no change then I take a q-tip and gently work on them💚

I have it right next to the humidifier anyway with a grow light. I’ll give it until the weekend and if no progress is made I may intervene.

Manic1I agree with Dani except please don’t try to work the new leaf out. You’re at risk of breaking it, in my experience.

Yeah I have it next to my humidifier and it has a grow light above it. I’ll just carefully cut the sheath a little if it’s still struggling by the weekend but leave the leaf itself alone.
