Haworthias are more forgiving with water than other succulents, I'd say it acts like snake plant minus the light. Put it somewhere bright and water when dry, but the more sun, the more water it can tolerate! I am more used to very hardy and spine haworthias though so I imagine this one may be a bit more delicate
1 me gustaYour little guy is a real cutie… I’m glad you were able to save him from that scrap bin! By the way, where do you find scrap plant bins? Maybe it’s something I’d like to investigate… like I need more plants…LOL! Do you have any more information on my Haworthia, like how big/tall will he get, etc? Any tips will be appreciated as I have only had a couple succulents in the past. TIA! PS. Good luck with your little guy… He’s very fortunate he’s found a loving home… 😍!
1 me gustaLol idk if it's just an over here thing, but some stores in my area clean out the plant litter and just put it in a bucket to throw instead of throwing them straight away. I used to look through the buckets a bunch as a kid. I don't see them as often anymore though. Haworthias are VERY slow growing though so he'll probably be in the same pot for a year. I'm over the moon with Dynamite cacti fertilizer (I've used it on more than succulents before) though it's really optional. Just keep things simple!!
1 me gustaVery cute! It has drainage right? Anything that's fast draining would work, but I used to use cacti mix which had a good amount of sand/soil. Also a good amount of perlite
