Okay, I’m at a loss, my money tree is doing absolutely horrible. The rest of the tree rotted off, and almost all the leaves have fallen off. I only water according to the schedule this app provides but she’s so unhappy. I keep her in bright indirect light too.
Have you checked the roots?

Usually the app is off when it comes to watering schedule, I use it more so to check the soil and see if it actually needs to be watered . I would check the soil and see if there is any root rot/funky smell. If the soil is drenched I would recommend repotting it and spraying the roots with a hydrogen peroxide and cut off any mushy brown roots
2개 좋아요My experience with planta is that it is mostly accurate, but I also use it as a reminder to check all of the plants regularly and examine the watering need myself.

Is the pot itself in draining or not? In a cache pot that holds water? What kind of soil?

Problem is you are using small bills for the soil topper. They grow best with 50’s and 100’s. Debit cards work best.

Is the leaves soft then underwatering if not then probably overwatering
