Any advice on how to help the corms from my alocasia root and grow? Recently just repotted my alocasia, I got it least year and repotted it and it produce five corms. I currently have it in a soil mix that has potting soil and peat moss. Thanks in advance!

i love this question. i recently just propagated my alocasia poly corms. after doing a lot of research i found that it helps to scrape off the outer shell (brown stuff) on the outside of the corm. they thrive in HIGH humidity, so i found success with putting them in a shallow pool of purified water inside of a closed container in your window sill! It may take a few weeks to see any growth, but trust me it works! tip: change out the purified water every week or so, to prevent any mold or rot!

I've had AMAZING results putting my corms in stratum. I just put about an inch of moist stratum in the bottom of an old Chobani yogurt cup, nestle the (scraped) corms in there & put another Chobani cup on top to hold in the humidity. Good luck to you!
