Working in the backyard and curious what these little sprouts are - does anyone know? Also, do I leave them?

    They look like weeds, I would take one inside and see what it grows into, meanwhile, I would kill the rest just to be sure.

    They look like very early maple seedlings to me, especially seeing how many there are. This is what it looks like when a bunch of maple seed pods (those helicopter things) fall in a particular area start sprouting.
