Just a mini "whine" session. The budget is not allowing for more grow lights (very low light house). Budget is not allowing to purchase more plants. But I waaaaaaaannnnnt it all! Any good budget tips?

    Just keep checking out Amazon. I got real lucky last week with a light purchase. New model from Sansi with remote. Bought two. I couldn’t believe the price. $17.99 each. Was reviewing my purchases this morning and discovered the same lights are now $79.99. One of the reviews even mentioned the price hike. But I’ve gotten some very good deals on Amazon. Put them in your cart, and then it will let you know of any price changes. You can also add “sale” to your search and you will get what’s on sale.

    For the plant side of things, propagate/divide your older ones and faster growers. Join groups online or visit shows, and trade or sell your props. For lighting, save up. You can also tide yourself over by getting seeds or other cheapies for outside while you wait

    Thrift store lamps (with appropriate angled lighting) and grow bulbs from a hardware store.

      Sure...that could work. Do they let you take your plants to prison? I know the lighting will suck, but at least a ZZ or Snake plant, right????

      I mean they havent taken any yet, but if you ever go to state prison don't bring a monsters albo 😒 not good enough light to keep varig

      Well they must allow grow lights....they aren't heathens. But I don't think I can trust my family to take care of my plants. Better not risk it!l
