My alocasia is pushing out huge leaves which I’m happy about but as a result of it being top heavy it’s dropping like crazy. I feel like just using a stake or something to support it won’t correct the significant lean of the main stem by the soil. Any suggestions?

I’d repot into a bigger pot if it’s been a while.

I’ve only had it 2 months. Never repotted but I added new soil shortly after getting it.

Maybe “repot” in the same pot, like try to correct the lean by just taking it out and adjusting where it sits in the soil, then add support. Idk this is probably bad advice but it’s more than likely what I would do 😅

I’d give it a go, especially if it is happy in that soil mix and pot!

There are places that sell a little “collar” you can put around an alocasia. It allows you to fill the collar with planting medium and support top-heavy or more mature alocasia!
