Hey y’all , this is fernleigh , he’s buddy’s with bryony. I know he’s looking a bit shabby but what do you think of him, I’d love to know some ideas to help him grow as the lighting here isn’t so good, I think that’s why he’s dying a bit 🤏. Also has anyone else got a similar plant ? I’d love to see pictures of em in the comments !!
i haven't got this specific fern, but the only way i can keep any fern alive indoors is self-watering. even still, i fill up the reservoir once a week. i can't water every three days, it's just not happening! so self watering is a life saver.

I have three of these guys. They need lots of water!
Also steam they are a tropical plant. Put in the bathroom to get some steam from the shower

I have one an it’s a monster 😂😂 it’s enormous. I grow it in semi-hydro (LECA) and it has always grown under a grow light.

0 Mi piace Thank you! As others have said they are thirsty. Just repotted another one today - plain black plastic pot, LECA 1/4 of the way up, plant on top of that, LECA filled in around the sides. I put it into a clear cache pot so I could see where the water reservoir is and when it’s empty. When watering, I fill to approx where the LECA 1/4 line is or just below :) They seem to grow super happily in this setup. The other super huge fern is in a self watering setup like yours.
