what plants are good for clay pots? I know they have extra minerals in them so I want a plant that won’t die in it.

    succulents. not because of the minerals you mention, but because terracotta pots (unglazed) dry more quickly

      Awesome thank you so much! I put a Venus flytrap in there then I was told it wasn’t a good idea so I didn’t wanna make the same mistake. :)

    Do the pots have drainage? Also not sure about the extra minerals. But if the pot is glazed it won’t dry like terra cotta

    There is no concern of extra minerals. Maybe you’re referring to the minerals that leech out thru the terracotta from the water and fertilizer. I use them a lot for young props and of course succulents and cacti. That includes peperomia, snake plants, and goldfish plants. I even have several of my begonias in terracotta. I like that they are porous and I like the natural look of terracotta.

    I mean, any plant really, but use slightly more dense mix than you would for a plastic pot (more soil for extra moisture).
