what plants are good for clay pots? I know they have extra minerals in them so I want a plant that won’t die in it.

succulents. not because of the minerals you mention, but because terracotta pots (unglazed) dry more quickly

1 mi piaceDo the pots have drainage? Also not sure about the extra minerals. But if the pot is glazed it won’t dry like terra cotta
1 mi piaceThere is no concern of extra minerals. Maybe you’re referring to the minerals that leech out thru the terracotta from the water and fertilizer. I use them a lot for young props and of course succulents and cacti. That includes peperomia, snake plants, and goldfish plants. I even have several of my begonias in terracotta. I like that they are porous and I like the natural look of terracotta.
1 mi piaceI mean, any plant really, but use slightly more dense mix than you would for a plastic pot (more soil for extra moisture).
1 mi piaceI have my snake plants, holiday cactus, and aloe in terra cotta
